Every sound that vibrates within and around ourself creates vibrational patterns that can be felt, but also made visible by simple means. Her you see the visible sound of my voice, while singing undertones. This ‘çymatic’ film shows the reflection of light while a bowl filled with water is set into resonance by my voice. – Sound moves matter! This is so important to understand since you can alter your state of well-being by the use of your own voice or while applying different sound to yourself.

Music touches the soul and arises the spirits of life. –
In this course the student will be trained to work with individuals and groups. The development of the voice in all its aspects, music theory, phenomenology of sound and sound-healing are the basic elements that will be worked on in a very practical manner.
The aim is that the student becomes able to set up an overtone groeps/choirassist a traditional choir, present his/her own program of music-phenomenology to schools and other national or private institutions, give a musical service at hospices and in similar situations, use his/her musical ability for healing and regeneration.
The programme explores the following themes by practical excercises:
OVERTONE CHANTING and SOUND HEALING
– the voice as medium of harmonizing energy.
– the relation of sound, body, mind and emotion:
inner movement, sound streams and resonances;
outer movements and the auric-radiation of sound.
– partner excercises –
to balance sound and project harmonising energy.
– HEALING POWER in chanting for others:
‘sound healing formations’
vocal resonance fields and sound power-circles.
– modal scales and their use for emotional change.
– rhythmical coordination excercises
to balance left and right side of the brain.
– overtone chant as a musical and spiritual expression.

a combination of overtone chanting and practical excercises from the Hatha-Yoga to increase the resonance of the body.

From there we go into Improvisations on musical themes from the gregorian chant.

Furthermore Danny will show his unique photo- and film-documentation from his own research ‘ the message of sound ‘.

The magic of sound
Lecture/workshop on – Sound phenomena –
The power of sound is the basic theme.
Danny Becher will talk about the relation of sound, body, mind and emotion and how to use the voice, overtones and /or instruments like the singing bowls for healing and regenerating purpose.
By way of some listening-excercises and a few practical singing-excercises the audience already will experience the power and magic that is hidden in sound.
The relation of sound, science and art is another subject that will be touched and Danny will demonstrate the Cladni-sound patterns, a way of making sound visible.
By looking at the creation og shapes during the resonance of different sounds we become able to understand the physical manifestation of sound in matter.
